For 55 years , 76-years-old Baburao Sitaprao, originally from the Konkan , has been running the canteen of the Parle Tilak Vidyalaya. He began around 1960 when a single batatawada used to cost 6 paise and no pav provided. Since then till now Babu Vada Pav is recognized brand in Vile Parle and around the suburb. When you hear Babu Vada Pav your mouth starts watering.
